Created by a Canadian artist, Joe Shuster, the United States and author Jerry Siegel in 1932 when they were still teenagers in Cleveland, Ohio, and then sell it to Detective Comics, Inc.. in 1938. Superman first appears in Action Comics # 1 (30 June 1938) and then also appeared in various radio series, television, film, newspapers, comics, novels, and video games.
